3 Bấy giờ, Giu-đa, kẻ phản ngài, thấy Chúa Giê-su bị kết án thì hối hận và mang trả lại 30 miếng bạc cho các trưởng tế và trưởng lão,+ 4 rồi nói: “Tôi có tội vì đã phản bội một người vô tội”.

For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power.”

Vì người ta chỉ biết yêu bản thân, ham tiền, khoe khoang, cao ngạo, phạm thượng, không vâng lời cha mẹ, vô ơn, bất trung, thiếu tình thương tự nhiên, cố chấp, vu khống, thiếu tự chủ, hung dữ, không yêu điều lành, phản bội, ương ngạnh, lên mặt kiêu ngạo”.
